Come Back Give Back

Morgan State University Southern Maryland Alumni Chapter will hold its Dinner Dance and Awards Program at the Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, Maryland on September 13, 2025 from 7pm to 11pm.

As part of our community service program, we will again provide scholarships to students from Southern Calvert, Charles, Southern Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties who will be attending Morgan in the fall of 2025.  The scholarships will expand their opportunity to pursue higher education. In addition to the scholarships, we will recognize the work of Morgan graduates and others who have made contributions to the University and/or our community.

Your support is a crucial element in the continued success of this program and we are pleased to offer several opportunities for individuals and organizations to participate in this event.

1. Tickets to the event are available at the cost of $80 per person.

2. Direct Donation can be made to the GeorgeF.DeFord scholarship fund.

3. Raffle Tickets for $5 per ticket. You do not need to be present to win.
